Information about my services

Why do I offer my services?

Research from Harvard University has shown that fertility can be increased by 69% with just five simple dietary changes. Given this along with a body of evidence favouring nutritional intervention, I am passionate about helping individuals and couples prioritise diet and lifestyle to improve their chances of conceiving, ensuring a healthy pregnancy, and supporting the well-being of both mother and baby.

As an accredited practising dietitian with a focus on reproductive health, I work closely with individuals and couples to optimise nutrition, enhance fertility, and address a range of reproductive health concerns. My approach is grounded in medical nutrition therapy and evidence-based practices, aimed at optimising egg and sperm health, improving ovulation, fertilisation, and implantation, and addressing conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, thyroid disorders, hypothalamic amenorrhea and coeliac disease. Additionally, I provide support for the nutritional complexities that come with pregnancy, postpartum, and breastfeeding.

Who can I help?

Here are some examples of patients who may benefit from my services:

  • Pre-conception Planning: For patients planning to conceive in the next 6-12 months, I offer tailored nutritional advice to prepare their bodies for conception and pregnancy, with a focus on optimising nutrient stores for the first 1000 days of their baby's life.

  • Weight Management: A healthy BMI is crucial for fertility. I assist patients in achieving and maintaining a BMI within the healthy range to improve their chances of conception.

  • Dietary Restrictions: For patients with food intolerances or restrictive diets, I provide personalised plans to address potential micronutrient deficiencies that may impact fertility.

  • Egg Freezing: The quality of eggs at the time of freezing significantly affects fertility outcomes. I work with patients three months prior to egg collection to optimise egg quality through dietary and lifestyle changes.

  • Recurrent Implantation Failure: Factors such as advanced maternal age, BMI, and stress can contribute to recurrent implantation failure. I offer tailored nutrition strategies to help improve the chances of successful implantation.

  • Recurrent Miscarriages: I address under-diagnosed dietary conditions, micronutrient deficiencies, and high pathogen intakes that may increase miscarriage risks.

  • Pregnancy, Postpartum, and Breastfeeding Support: I provide guidance and support to navigate these stages with confidence, ensuring both maternal and infant health.
